I grew up around books. 

 

My mother was a librarian for over ten years, and she read to me every night. She passed her love of reading and stories onto me. 

 

From a young age, I wanted to write and did. I tried different genres and different techniques. I'm still learning, and I learn something new about myself and my writing everyday. 

 

I just finished my undergraduate degree in English at the University of Georgia and am currently at the University of Denver for the Denver Publishing Institute. I'm learning so much, and I know without a doubt that I want to be around books. Reading them, editing them, selling them. There is always something out there I haven't read.  

 

That's the great thing about books. There's always a new chapter to be read.
